Matt's Home MX-850 Configuration For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Matt Sciarrotta | This config allows the wife to view in 2 differnet places as all AV components are located centrally in main theater room. Family room is a nightly desired viewing area. Everything is behavior based. No need for much else. What do you think? |

Damian Anzelmo's MX-850 For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Damian Anzelmo | The 1st LCD page has the macros on the left of the LCD screen and the device components on the right. Buttons right of the LCD control the macros and buttons left of the LCD control the device components. After the macro executes it defaults to the device’s LCD control page. Favorite channels are for the Dish Network DSS system. This is my 1st attempt at programming the MX-850, I’ve had it for a week. |

Dave Fitzgerald's MX-850 For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Dave Fitzgerald | This is a system setup for my own personal system. Some of them are discrete, some are not. There was a few pieces that had no discretes, so I improvised. The Onkyo receiver is part of a HTIB and with the power, only the off command is discrete. I could not find any discrete on command for this model. The TV has no discrete power or inputs so that was the toughest. I found a way to trick the system and work around the lack of discrete inputs. The only reason it worked is becuase this TV has seperate input commands for composite and componet and as long as you know the order, it's easy to trick and works flawlessly. I had to use an all on command because the lack of discrete on this TV. |

Xerxes Labrador's MX-700 For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Xerxes Labrador | This is a straighforward configuration having the activity macros on the first page and model names for the second page. Not so savy users need only to go to the first page and select the activity they want. The second page was intentionally meant for savy users when they need to individually jump to specific devices. Discrete power ON/OFF codes have been provided for most devices and macro power ON/OFF trick for cable box. I am still searching for discretes for the VCOD and I cannot use macro trick because it has a hard drive system. Any activity macro when selected will attemp to power off all devices and power on the selected device for the desired activity. Receiver input signal selection as well as monitor video type selection will also be handled by the macro. Since I am using Comcast with a 63 inch screen, I find it more convenient to use the cable menu or channel guide and then navigate through it because all channel and program information is browsable. My FAV button will just envoke the cable menu. |
