Kranston Boodram's System Setup For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Kranston Boodram | The layout uses some LCD buttons (like AMP>, and <BACK) for easy jumps to different screens. The file is still being tweaked as I search for more discretes! Now includes a new DVD player and updated VCR commands. |

Mark Burkhart's MXF For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Mark Burkhart | This layout allows for control of the listed components with both startup and device switching macros. Main Page 1 allows for individual device control with a quick press, and device switching with press and hold. Page 2 contains startup macros for each of the devices - the left side starts up using TV audio, the right uses the receiver. The only work in progress is my favorites listing. |

Darin Cline's Setup For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Darin Cline | Not yet complete. The main purpose of this file is to show the use of press & hold macros. Each device button on the main menu is a press & hold macro... press normally, and the required components turn on & get set to the appropriate settings, and the remote is switched to that device page. Press very quickly (0.1 seconds) and the remote switches to the device page, but none of the macros are run. For me, this is more convenient that the standard method of bypassing the macros by holding down the MAIN button while hitting the device button. Press & holds are also used in the TiVo and DVD devices to combine multiple commands into one hard button... FF becomes forward skip if you hold it for more than 0.2 seconds, RR-rear skip, play-1 minute jump, pause-slomo. Also, the power off on individual devices turns off only that device if you press less than 0.1 seconds, or the whole system turns off if you press normally (more than 0.1 seconds). |
