Hello Bracken,

I am a beta tester for Philips and have recently been putting a few of my customers in the MX3000 because its RF module is much more effecient than Philips' version. I would very much like to try out your program if possible. I can share a great deal of cool configs. I have worked but never had a chance to post them on this site.

thank you,

brad

I have two Kenwood Changers 5900 and 5050 which I have retired - will be going for E Bay soon.
Instead I am now using a media server with 2 terrabyte storage - I rip my movies using dvd shrink and put them on the server.
It would be great if your program can be used to call movies from a media server using the MX 3000. I use Theatertek 2.0 to play the movies.
The media server htpc has infrared keybaord and mouse and mx 3000 can learn keystrokes.

Ash,

Dont want to give too much away, but keep your eyes open for the HTPC software I already have in the works for my personal setup.

How many people would be interested in software that very closely uses the MX3000 with an HTPC.

I know some of you are getting impatient with me, but I need some time to finish the next revision before I can release it.

There were a few things that needed to be fixed, and I am working on putting it to the web so I dont have to E-Mail copies out to everyone.

I will post update information here.

Bracken,

I sent you my rcc file so that you can see the Kenwood macro mods. Let me know if you get it.

Thanks
Jay

I would like to obtain a copy of this program for my MX-3000. Also, can this program be used for CD changers? If not, can it be adapted to for this use?

Thanks.

It currently doesnt have any support for CD's, however this will be a future option.

On another note, I now have a domain, and plan to have a website up soon.

Since my initials are BBB (Bracken B. Baker) I chose http://www.triplebsoftware.com.
Here is a new sample page, [Link: triplebsoftware.com]

I am working on finishing the auto-update section of code for DMX-3000 now that I have webspace.

Still waiting on more replies/suggestions from current users.

Yes, the detailed information screen is still in the works.

With that said, here is the list of things that are currently "IN THE WORKS". This is by no means a definitive list, and is in no particular order. I would like to know which order everyone would like to see these added. And if there is something else you feel needs to be added to the list, by all means, lets hear it.

1. DVD Extra Details
2. DVD Synopsis (1&2 would go well together, but would have to be seperate pages)
3. By Genre Listings
4. Support for multiple changers (when used together)
5. Support for text listing, (Would include CD changers) layout of this one is looking really nice, if I do say so myself. Sample screen shot to come soon.

Bracken,

I have a pioneer 300 disk and a sony 400 disk changers that I have been using with SNL and a pronto. I have been following the mx3000 for a year and a half now and had determined to get me one for christmas '04. I decided against it mid Nov. because of the difficulty in managing my 600+ disk library. It looks like now that you are on the way to solving that. Can you give me an idea of how far out support for multiple changers is?

Can I get a copy of the software?
[email protected]

Thanks for all your efforts!

I cant say how soon the multiple changer support will be available. If this is what everyone feels would be the best thing to add first, I will stop work on the By Genre Listing, and complete the Multiple changer support.

However, my main reason for not having this completed already is that I dont own multiple changers and so I have now way of testing it thoroughly. If there are a few of you out there that have more than one changer, and would like to help out I would greatly appreciate it.
