One idea that might be useful would be the abiltity to move the titles around on the list in your software before exporting them. For example, the Indana Jones Trilogy doesn't come up in the "correct" order based on title so I have been going into the mx editor and moving them around to make them land in the correct order. The same happenes with the Star Wars movies and the Harry Potter films. If we could adjust the order in your software that would allow groupings to be made any way we want.

Bracken,

It still hasn't shown up. It may be our enterprise spam filter, but I kind of doubt that. I don't have access to that right now, so I'll check in the morning.

Thanks for the effort.

Sam,
I use the exact order they are sorted in DVD Profiler, so if you want to reorder them, edit them in DVD Profiler. I use the Sort Title to sort them in DMX-3000.

So the way I have my Indiana Jones setup in DVD Profiler is this. Edit the Movie and change the Sort Title to something similar so they are sorted correctly. Same for Star Wars or any movie goupings for that matter.

Title: Indiana Jones and the Raider of the Lost Ark
Sort Title: Indiana Jones 1
Title: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Sort Title: Indiana Jones 2
Title: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Sort Title: Indiana Jones 3

I use this same Sort Title information as the order in which they will be listed in the DMX-3000 listing. Which is nice because then words like "The" wont cause the movies to be in the "T's" but rather in the next word the way you would expect. Once you have this set the way you want, you will want to "Lock" the title information otherwise the next time you udpate information in DVD Profiler, it will overwrite your changes.

I hope this makes sense, and should take care of your issue.

Bracken,

I got your email, Thanks. I read here that your working on the multi-changer functions. I am currently loading my 600+ disk into profiler. Can you tell me yet how I should handle Player 1 / 2 IDs? I have a 300 disk palyer and a 400 disk player. I'm guessing that you might have a user defined switch over number and then start treating disks , for example, 301 and above as 001 etc for the second player, if the switch over nomber was set at 300.

Thanks

ljckbailey,

You are correct, you will specify that you have a 300 as changer 1 and a 400 as changer 2. Which would mean that a disc number 301 would indicate disc 1 in the 400 disc changer.

There will then be 2 "Controls" pages, the first you would setup for your 300 disc changer, and the 2nd for the 400. This seems to be the most logical configuration to me, if someone has a better alternative, I am ALL EARS.

On a related note, what are the different size changers that are available, 200, 300 and 400. Was there ever a 100, or any other for that matter?
