Well, I did it! finalized the deal today! Cut a wicked good deal, Turned out nissan sold my van from underneath of me so it made me take a second look at the new tranist. This is heads and tails better then the NV200, and slightly bigger too!

First order of business is to tint the front windows and build my shelving and racking. Im going to hopefully get started on it this weekend. The rear windows will get blacked out and im going to cover them with plywood so i can hang stuff off of it.

Empty and winter blend fuel the computer said 38.6 MPG with 100miles on the clock...Very curious to see what i will get loaded, summer blend fuel and once she breaks in.

This is such a comfortable van, and super super fun to drive (go figure) Very well built. the only thing im not fond of is the sync system, but i wont use that anyway.

XLT Package-Rear view Camera/Sync package-4 key fobs-180 degree opening doors-6 way adjustable driver seat- front a rear sensing system. I didn't really want that either but it will be nice in the city.

Im Pretty Excited!!

Pimpin'

I'm cracking up at the Aston Martin design language carried over to the front end though ;-)

This reminds me of when I was young and handsome.
No wife, no kids, no mortgage, no worries.
Lot's of money and time to burn.
And did I burn it.
New cars, beach houses, ski houses, vacations.
Living the dream.
If I could only turn back the clock.
Good times.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
At least I'm still handsome.

Instead of asking me why my price is high ask the other guys why they are low.

Curious, can you fit a 4'x8 sheet of plywood between those wheel wells? It looks like maybe you can.
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

Two things I especially like about my Ford: Sync and the backup sensor. See if it grows on you.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

My Astro only has about 80k miles on it, but it's 10 years old now and I've been starting to think about something new.  I can't get by with anything smaller, but don't really want anything full size because it would be difficult to park in my driveway.

I do like the looks of this, but the cab does look small.  One great thing about my Astro is that it has a center console that holds a bunch of stuff including hanging files and the lid slides forward into a table that works great for the laptop, writing notes or eating lunch.

Post some pics when you get it outfitted!

That looks vastly improved over the 2010 transit that I drive.

Thanks Everyone! Man i wish RC had a multiquote option :)

I didnt take a picture of it but there is a shelf that runs the width of the cab for brochures, laptops tablets etc.

you can fit a sheet of plywood between the wheel wells BUT from the back of the seat to the rear doors is only 84" long. Im waiting for american van to release the rooftop carrier for the 2014's so i can haul my ladders and sheet good if needed.

It will sure be a change from a fullsized van but after some very careful planning and organization this will be perfect for 98% of the jobs i do...and it will be SO nice to work in the city.

I will make sure to take pictures and post my progress every step of the way. It is slightly smaller then the 2013 TC's height wise but not by much. i can still get a 65"TV in there.

Glad to see you go with the T.C.

I can't even test drive one.. Not one in South Florida.
