So did you buy it outright, lease it, or finance it?

I was wrong.. test drove it Thursday and again today.. Really nice. so much nicer than the NV200. I think it is worth the extra $$. I did notice it is smaller than the original one. I still think if set up correctly it could work. It will take some getting used to after driving the F-250 crew cab. I think I can park this thing inside my truck...I would love to see some photos on how you are setting it up!!! are you going to add a ladder rack on the roof?

That looks vastly improved over the 2010 transit that I drive.

i have been thinking about getting a used 2010 - 2012 transit. i assume that you have this thing loaded with ladder racks, shelves, etc. what kind of mileage do you get and how does it drive?

Sorry bud I just realized i had a few PM's from you (and others)

this little ride is AWESOME! it rides so smooth and it is fun to drive. Gas millage is hovering around 30mpg at 245mi. on the clock. Its been mostly unloaded though. I have been making some headway on the van racking this weekend. I did have to redo one cabinet due to a miss calculation. I after some final numbers i think ill need to buy MORE systainers to fit the shelves. This actually has more room then i was thinking, The metal shelfs will be horribly inefficient though (for systainers)

There has been ALOT of time and planning into this and finally just got one carcus built and test fit.

I will be getting a ladder rack just like this when ever american van releases it for the 2014 (late august they said) [Link: americanvan.com]

i LOVE this van!

will have a few tonight, still not much to see, i have quite a few hours in actual shelving that needs to be done.

I think you guys will be quite pleased with how much im fitting in here.

I know i sound like a broken record here but i couldnt of done this kind of downsize without alot of systainers and discipline with organization.

I figured its not worth posting because you guys are going to be like WTF is he doing ;)

Been working late into the evenings. Tonight is carpeting the shelves and cabinets to try and absorb some of the noise made from systainers and tools shifting around.

Alot of the time spent doing this has been thinking from a sound standpoint and how to isolate as much as I possibly can.

I'm anxious to see what you come up with as I'm trying to figure out how I want to move forward with my 'older' transit connect and all my systainers.

ps. I just order the midi vac today along with a new midi systainer case and a couple sys 4's (for paint gun, HVL compressor and hoses), an extra Sys3 (have an idea for hand tools) and that open top unit that I wanted for keeping empty and loading up as needed.

Still working on how to manage install parts and pieces, I think I may keep them all in systainers also, but might make more sense to get regular bins and a couple emply Sys3's to load up on a per job basis.

...the struggle continues.

Don't bring your helper with you in the van. That will silent the most annoying sound issue you have.
