So I had quite a few glitches in my old version leading to lock ups on the lights page and some other pages. This a complete rewrite starting fresh. I actually saved all graphics and locations and started with nothing and only referenced my old remote to build it the same layout and then impove on that. I added allot on new graphics, cleaner IR codes and an easier to navigate macro section. Some graphics are my own as well as using many of the clasics that I loved from Tom Molstad, Mike Ventimiglia, Daniel Tonks and many other great artist on this site. I would like to say thanks for all those who contributed grphics that I used and thanks to the people that I may not have mentioned as well. I saved allot of the PSDs from stuff I made so if you need something I did not include in the ZIP file email me. I will do my best to get it to you.

My first PCF, all buttons and graphics are origional except for the help page graphic that I borrowed from 'Chang' and the header icons that I 'borrowed' ages ago when creating a CCF, I apologise that I don't know who's work they were as it was so long ago (but thanks).

Specialities of the House
What makes my system special is that no one else has the same one. I call it "user friendly". The system design is based upon my day to day usage of the original device remote controls. When I want to look at recorded titles I want the correct panel to come up automatically. Borrowed heavily on DT's gallery, and thanks to Joe Gildein for the lock.

All you Trekkers out there will love this one... is there a GUI interface out there (movie themed) better that that of Star Trek? I think not! Even if you are not a fan you have to agree!

Frank James' TSU7500 File
Here is my first attempt at making my own file. It is space based, I used Photoshop and Microsoft Photo Editor. I leaned on many files for ideas and guidance so thanks to all. Hope someone can enjoy!

Contest Entry #17: Theater Style
My PCF is a device based design split into parts for two rooms of the house. It is set up to keep all devices in sync regardless of whether discrete codes are available.

Each device maintains a theme of stylized rounded buttons using a conistent layout to make it easy to find controls which are common between devices. Each page has a 'Master Off' button which will turn off all equipment related to the device and take you back to the main home page.

I have demonstrated the use of the ProntoPro's translucent capability by using see-through menus for selecting audio, device, D-pad, and lighting settings.

For the cable box device, the menus slide out from the bottom or sides showing simple animation techniques. It works great on the remote, but the simulator causes the screen to flash when changing pages, making the animation less smooth. Delays were added to slow it down in the simulator. These delays are not necessary on the actual remote. I hope you enjoy the graphics and layout design. It was a lot of fun to work on.

I'm quite pleased with the outcome we acheived for our customer, who had just upgraded to the new Foxtel IQ2 HD receiver. Using a combination of old Pace commands and pasting HEX from our RTI library, we have acheived most commands for the Foxtel with no issues of multiple codes being sent. Sorry about the basic layout but we were trying to make an easy to use remote for the customer. Hope it helps!
