Thank you guys for free publicity! You generated a lot of traffic to my store: www.control-panel.us and quite a bit of orders, which allows me to keep my assistant on staff full time. Wait for other exciting projects from me and my team.

Checkmate to you all ... I guess! Smile!

I'm glad to hear the orders are flooding in. Every success to you. By the way, where in New York was the above photo taken?

I can see all the talk generating a lot of traffic to your site. We aren't telling people to not look at it, we just think it is kinda stupid. I'm sure my boss checked it out because I thought the picture of the girl holding it was so funny I printed it out just to show him. But, if you can make some money off of it, all the power to you. It kinda reminds me of the "Gator Grip" do you guys remember that "as seen on tv" commercial? It is a socket with a bunch of pins in it that fits any size bolt or nut. "THERE'S NO NEED FOR ALL THOSE EXPENSIVE SOCKETS ANYMORE FOLKS!! AND NOW YOU CAN REPLACE YOUR WHOLE TOOLBOX WITH THIS ONE LITTLE INEXPENSIVE TOOL!!!" (Caps for effect :0) ). Anyways, I'm sure the guy that invented that made millions off of customers that didn't know anybetter. For all I know it might work fine for little projects where all you need is about 2 ftlbs of torque. But, if it's so great, why don't the pros have them?

I tried to resist, but couldn't help but to reply.

The only thing your site has going for it is the hot chick.

The main reason people get a "universal" remote, is to make operation of their system EASIER. When programmed correctly, the universal remote makes it more intuitive and more enjoyable to operate.

Most OEM remotes have horrible ergonomic designs, they are provided as a way to control the product remotely. Most people look at just one of the OEM remotes and are confused, imagine 3, 4 or 7 of them together? Talk about confusion!

I don't care if they are all together, or lying separately on a table, that doesn't change the cunfusion and frustration factor.

No piece of wood, plastic, or any other "organizer" will eliminate this problem.

When I had my first apt, about twenty years ago, I had a remote for TV, VCR, Stereo, CD & Cable. I did tape them to a small piece of wood. One on each side and the 5th facing the other dir. It worked great for a while, about a week. I guess I should have marketed it, I could be a very rich man today. It was more trouble than it was worth. Today, I have remotes for TV, Pre Amp, HDTV STB, VCR, DVD, MD, CD, Tape, & Cable. I would never "tape them to a board". Now I am using a Pronto Pro, it is programmed with every button from every remote I have. Yes the learning curve was steep, but well worth the time, effort and money.
Please take your POS "Piece Of Something" and sell it somewhere else.
--->YES, I am jealous I did not Market mine first, hey, where you ever at my place back in the early 80's, I think you stole my idea.........

Well, Dave I am glad you like the female model on my site www.control-panel.us. And you can have your opinion about anything you want. You never purchased my product and never experienced how it simplifies the control of your electronics. So continue to imagine...

Believe me, in business when you start anything new there would be millions of reasons (or opinions) why it would not work, but if I listen to all of those losers who never accomplished anything in their life and now were offering their "valuable" points of view, I would probably never try to do anything myself.

This forum offered me a great exposure, pointed out some spelling mistakes on my site, and proved one more time that most people have nothing else to do but bitch about how stupid others are when they are discussing in detail MY PRODUCT !!!

By the way, if there is a million dollar market for this:

Then there are a few thousand bucks left for this:

Simple Math. This is my approach to doing business, and most of you can continue to bitch all you want about nothing!

LOL

I guess there is something to say about going through and marketing something no matter how stupid it seems. It doesn't matter how stupid something is, there are always those people up at 2am that will buy anything from an infomercial. I'm guilty of buying one of these

back in the day. But Your device doesn't hold the TV Guide does it! LOL. I'm gonna make one that does and market that. he he he

I'm still trying to figure out if mdvor is serious....
Just in case, I can't imagine even considering to offer something like this. I can't think of anyone that would consider this exceptable and would never put my name on it.
I feel just as dumb, as the idea, for replying...
Different strokes for different folks.
