This is the best thread ever mdvor, thanks. I hope one day I come up with a rediculous idea that I can support with pretzel logic too. It's absolutely true that you can sell anything in America if the packaging is right. Anyone know where I can get a Pet Rock these days?

I am sure mdvor is a bored plexiglas salesman with a new table saw.
The link does not work any more. Boo hoo.
This idea was tossed around with just as much laughter and sarcasm about three years ago, but I think it might have been the organic "green" version of the product: a 2 x 4.
You can actually have the benefits of both nifty programming and lack of losability if you take your MX500, or Pronto, or whatever, and glue THAT to a hunk of plexiglas or a 2 x 4.
Remember that plexiglas can be bought in over a hundred designer and not-so-designer colors, too. Of course, you will have to buy a whole sheet...maybe THAT is what mdvordid, and it started him on this whole campaign!
By the way, if you DO buy this product, be sure you get the UL approved version.

I tied every remote in my house to the main chair where we have our TV's. It cost $.005 cents, and they NEVER get lost. I have a 6 yr old daughter inlove with Nickelodeon, and 2.5 yr old twin boys who think remotes are electronic puppies that should follow them everywhere. I know, all you remote snobs think this is stupid, but it is the best thing I have ever used.
Oh, and if you don't like it you can bash me for being a string factory owner pushing my wares, a technological idiot, and an ill informed newbie.
Jeeeeeez.

I've got a new product idea for you. It's right up your alley.
You know the problem with those Pesky Automobiles... they're always being stolen! And they go so fast, if you have an accident, Hospitalization can result.
Fix these problems with the Travel-Skateboard. Take your skateboards, and Velcro them to the flexible plastic base. A handle attached to the base helps with steering and stability. And it's small enough to take with you, into stores, your home, where ever. No need to worry about accidents, as you can't get going fast enough to injure yourself badly.
Oops... those are fairly reasonable features, perhaps this isn't quite as useful as your product! ;-)

Jeeeeeez, indeed..... What a wonderful thing this site's Search Engine is! I agree with Spiky. Perhaps, before cooking those fish, he should just go ahead and go on over that edge! And he is the one who resurrected it after several months of dormancy. Pity.
