I was browsing the Yahoo Stores and found an excellent product to replace Universal Remote Controls with a great new product. Take a look:

I was just wondering what other's would think about it ?

How do you figure that this will replace your remotes? A piece of plastic just hold remotes? I don't know about you, but as for me I have replaced all the remotes in my house with 3 htm mx-500's, they are priced right at about $115.00 at bluedo and do all of my equipment.

That's the point! I don't need to replace anything any more. I just take my remote controls with all their buttons and just attach them to a simple piece of plastic that will keep them together for ever. I never loose them, I don't have to program anything, and best of all I don't have to spend 3*115=$345 to gain the same functionality as you did with your mx-500s. Plus it is still pretty easy to loose your mx-500s. Check out the comparison:

ROFL...you mean you want to lift that damn thing when you want to control your tv? If your married, I'm sure your wife will love it. Just as much as she'll love the 12 pete rose baseball cards you get her for valentines day. ; )

Hey, let me ask you a question ... How come every year we get "better" and "better" universal remote controls that we continue to loose and loose and just buy more and more of them all the time ? I could bet you a million bucks you will never loose this thing and will always know where your remotes are. Instead of going to the store every few months looking for another "universal" remote control.

I think I will stick with my Phillips Pronto Pro that
NEVER gets lost, when it's not in use it's sitting in
it's docking station charging atop my main speaker.

What a joke, a piece of plastic and some sticky tape
PUHLEEEESE!

Hey, you might as well use the stick tape to heal your cuts! Why do you buy "Band Aid" you could do it yourself! Right ?

I don't buy Band Aids.. I buy the correct solution to
the problem. And the solution is not a $0.30 cent piece
of plastic to "stick" all my remotes together. The real
sollution is a Pronto... :)

No, you buy $100+ worth of plastic, that you also need to spend time programming, and when all of a sudden the buttons don't work you got to search for the book with all the damn codes in it and re-program the stupid remote again. But, sure, it looks good ... if can find it :-)

FYI the Pronto Pro is $700.00 + depending on where you
buy it... And no I don't have to search for the manual
to program it.. I guess being smart when it comes to
computers and technology helps.. I don't even have to
look at the manual to set the clock on my VCR go fig!

And the buttons never cease to work.

I guess it all you have is a 19" TV with a Phillips
Boombox for your "surround processor" then sure this
nifty piece of plastic and tape would be right at home
guarding your valuable remotes.

I for one did not mind parting with the cash for the
remote when I have thousands of dollars tied up in all
of the other equipment (and I hardly have "High end"
gear mind you..)

Sometimes if you want something that does the job right
then you have to part with the cash. Why do I get the
distinct feeling that you are here pushing your wares.
You asked us for our opinions and when they clash with
what you want to hear, then you simply rule out what we
say.

If this is the case then why did you bother asking us
in the first place? Go push your wares somewhere else..
Perhaps on an infomercial for $19.95 and throw in a
free bath robe also!

Let me guess, MDVR just registered yesterday, links us to a website, and defends the product as the greatest invention since the polio vaccine. Could it be that he may have some involement in the website, or is it just the model? :)

You mean the model of remote organizer, or the female model in the picture?
