 Nashville Insider, a syndicated country music news and entertainment show, launches into season three adding 51 TV stations to its affiliate list, none of which is in the Southern Ontario - Western New York - Northern P.A. area.[Link: tvnewscheck.com]

No more CTV programming on CHEX-1 and CKWS as the three year agreement between Bell and Corus will expire. The Young and the Restless will air at 17:00.
Starting on Aug. 27, the CHEX Daily Show will be cancelled. Show host Caley Bedore will continue to do weather analysis as well as news and consumer features on CHEX-TV.

 Fox affiliates were recently notified about the new program, and both the network and the league are working to determine how many stations will carry the show and whether or not they will be able to do so at 11:30 p.m. Some affiliates may choose to offer “GameDay Prime” in another time slot due to conflicts with other programming that is already contracted to air.

 The Federal Emergency Management Agency, in coordination with the FCC, announced Monday morning that the National Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts tests scheduled for this Thursday, Sept. 20, have been postponed due to “ongoing response efforts to Hurricane Florence.”

The first nationwide test of the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System took place on (U.S. cell phones and TV stations) Wednesday circa 14:18.

 The network has handed out a sizable pilot-production commitment to a sequel of NYPD Blue.
The return of the series follows Andy Sipowicz's (original star Dennis Franz) son, Theo, as he tries to earn his detective shield and work in the 15th squad while investigating his father's murder.
Matt Olmstead (Chicago PD) will pen the script alongside Nick Wootton, both of whom worked on the original ABC drama. Both will executive produce alongside Steven Bochco's son, Jesse, and the late creator's wife, Dayna Bochco. Jesse Bochco was a producer and director on the original series.

 START TV will be available beginning December 01, 2018 in Cleveland on WBNX-DT  . WBNX-DT currently broadcasts on RF  , repacked to RF  August 02, 2019.
