Hmmm. Yep, you've got me stumped. We'll have to get Bracken involved on this one.

I've tried the "detailed listings" checked and unchecked. Checked I get an error. Unchecked file loads to remote.

Under DMX-Discs I've got 58 pages of my multiple discs that have macros. Each macro shows an alias that goes nowhere.

I've deleted the DMX-3000 device entirely and reinstalled the import header file. Still same problem.

I can tell you that Bracken's going to want to look at your file. The odds are very high that something is weird in Profiler that's causing DMX to flip out. You'll want to prepare a zip file with your original RCC (before you run DMX on it, your XML file from DVD Profiler, and your final RCC after you run DMX. He's going to need that to diagnose this, most likely.

Dan,
Darnitol is correct, if you would please ZIP up those 3 files and send them to me I should be able to pin point your exact problem and provide a solution.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards, -3B

Bracken,
Quick question does your software work with the new Sony BDP-CX960. This may have been discussed before and I appoligize. But I want to buy one now if it does work.
Thanks

Sorry for the delay. I wanted to do some digging before replying. I dont personally have a Sony BR changer (would love to, but am frustrated by the whole thing at the moment) so I cant confirm nor deny this. From everything I read, it sounds as though Sony has not included any way to directly select a disc using IR commands. I guess you have to use the integrated browser on the changer. This completely eliminates the possibility of using any URC remote to automate movie selection with the CX960. However, you could use the CX7000ES since Sony kindly added an RS-232 port for a measly $1000 price jump.
I would love for someone that has a BR changer to tell me I'm wrong here. :)

Bracken,
trying to fire up my DMX today I was told I only have the demo version! With five changers almost at full capacity the 24 disc limit is quite problematic... :-)
How do I restore the full version?

I replied to your email with a copy of your current registration keys. It appears as though you have your registration codes swapped between your XP and Vista machine, please try entering the Registration key for the Vista Machine and see if that fixes your problem.

I would love for someone that has a BR changer to tell me I'm wrong here. :) I'm afraid it appears you correct :( There does not seem to be a way to directly navigate to a slot via IR. In fact the current Live Update IR DB for the RM-ADP036 remote (used by both models of Sony BD changers) doesn't work. I had to use the codeset for BDX-2.

I'm afraid it appears you correct :( There does not seem to be a way to directly navigate to a slot via IR. This is very disappointing to hear. The ability to queue up a given slot directly via IR is all that I require per my Pronto TSU9600 and the DVD management activity that I use. I own 6 of the Sony DVP-CX985V 400-disc DVD changers and have been completely satisfied with direct slot access via IR. With a limited number of slots left in my last DVD changer I planned on officially starting my Blu-ray disc collection by years end with the purchase of the lower end Sony Blu-ray changer. Never even thought to question whether direct slot access via IR was still possible. While I'd rather not go to the added expense of integrating RS-232 capability into my setup and purchasing the higher end changer at least it's an option I guess. Tough pill to swallow though.

Hi Guys, I recently added some more HDMI components and had to add in a couple 4:1 HDMI switches to feed my 2 HDMI input receiver. My problem is how to program my MX 3000 running DMX-3000 to be able to pass the right HDMI port along with the movie that has been selected. eg Sony1 = 995v 1 and is on HDMI 3, Sony2 = 995v 2 and is on HDMI 4 with same output feeding my Denon receiver to my TV. I tried adding the remote commands to the Sony1 and 2 changer control pages under DMX-3000 but they appear to be locked to the same function somehow so can't set them independently. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Dave [email protected]
