The uppercase thing has to do with the internet in general (not only here) it comes from the days when all things were plain text, so to make something stand out (like shouting) you had only one choice WRITE IN UPPER CASE, and since then it has stayed, even though now you can get fancy with bold, or red or Big

As for the second thing (new thread that was for your own benefit) some people don't read all threads, and others might have read part of this thread and decided they were not interested. A new thread with a good title (like you did latter) makes sure people who might want to help you have a better chance to do it.

Hi Guys,

I would just like to thank all of you who contributed to the file archives. I think all the ccf files and bitmaps are a great contribution. I am new to the pronto and am still learning how to program it. I have download a lot of the files to learn how they work and find they are very useful.

There are a lot of ungrateful people in the world. Please do not take their opinions to heart, it is the people like me that appreciate your work.

Hopefully I will be able to donate to the archives over time.

Thanks,
Scott

Well put Scott.

As a user of the Pronto for just over a year, I have found this site and its file archives absolutely invaluable.
Without them I would not have been able to get the most of out of my pronto.

I felt that, along with the hundreds of other users who have benefitted from the files, that the least I could do was to upload my CCF as a small contribution.
This is however only my second post to the forums, The last was so long ago I had to recreate my account.

Keep up the excellent work guys, and thank you all.

(I just wish I could warrant to myself the purchase of a pronto pro. to use some of those superb colour graphics)

Pete:

If it's any consolation, I've designed and programmed four color CCFs so far, but I don't own a ProntoPro either.

Beever obviously doesn't give a "dam" about anyone else's feelings. Heh heh...

Just why'd the Beev have to be such a knucklehead, anyway. Golly, what a creep.

:)

OK... NOW you guys are getting into the proper "Beaver" spirit!

Geez - Ya know it's funny, but I kinda miss the Beav...

Maybe he figured out how "insensitive" he was, & now he's lurking, but just too embarrassed to return.

Yeah, right!..

Ok maybe I'm just slow, but when did we get the nifty little lavender boxes for quotes?

Inquiring minds want to know.
