Problem! That's not a problem, it's a undocumented feature!

would that be what we call a football, or what you cross-the-ponders call a football?

Association Football:
Played with a round ball predominantly kicked with the foot.

American Football:
Played with an anorexic type of Rugby ball predominantly tossed or carried by hand.

Without wishing to be too controversial (I actually enjoy both sports) I think the former is more aptly described a "football" than the latter.

Ummm guys. I have to freaken idea what the hell you people are talking about. But I am still having this f---ed up problem. And it is really pissing me off. Specaily since I've tried time after time after time trying to get your f---ing attention. And this time I really hope this gets through. Or else I just won't try it ever again.

Rob

My guess - and it purely is a guess - is that when the server here at the Forum can't handle all the incoming, your local ISP server backs up to something it retained in memory as your last viewable screen.

In my case, if I can't get through, my ISP server gives me a message that it can't find the server I'm trying to connect to, and suggests I try again or hit refresh.

I've had this happen all the time, and I have gotten to the point where I highlight my response and use Control-C to copy it before I hit Submit Your Reply. That way, if it winds up in limbo, I just try again and paste my message using Control-V, like I am doing right now!

Thanks for the tip. But now I know what is going on though. I was closing the window before it was done all the way. But I thought waitingtil it was at least half way wouldn't effect the submission. But I guess it did.

..that, and i always right click/open in new window. doing it this way, if I have already previewed it at least once, i can refresh/resend and i go back to my previous preview, which is still intact.

and i gotta admit..it's getting pretty old. especially since daniel's take on it seems to be that he has no problems, so there are no problems.

Why would you want to do that?

Forget about Ctrl + C. Or right click new window.

I my self just use the center mouse button. Which opens a new window. But hey, who would know about that but me. Since basicaly I am the only one using the Avant Browser, formaly known as IE Opera.

my center mouse button is set to refresh.

and something else i just remembered, and i don't understand why it works, but it does.....well.....98% of the time:

if i'm having problems getting pages to load, i close all of them except one, then go up to the toolbar and click on STOP 3 or 4 times (whether the page is "done" or not)........and then new windows open up much more quickly........for a while, anyways.

alternately, if i'm opening a new window and it stays white for too long, i click on that pages STOP, then refresh. works a lot of the time. if it doesn't, then i do what's suggested above on the original page.

but all in all, it's still a bunch of BS.......why do we have to keep finding these little tricks? i don't have these problems on any other website i frequent. WHY HERE?

other than the fact that daniel knows we're a bunch of junkies that need our fix and will jump through whatever hoops may be necessary to get it. maybe he's running some sort of psychological test on us, or something...............yeah, that's it.......we're all just a bunch of hoop jumping pavlov's dogs.

ring-ring....ring-ring.........someone hand me a napkin, please.
