Nice video, but too late. I already bought an Xsight Touch.

Nice! but how about the remote? I could not find any review for this Prestigo. It seems users did not bother reporting their experience with this remote. I'm wondering how this compares to the Xsight Color.

Thank you! indeed. It is a good review, which pointed out the lack of multi-device macros. This is a significant short coming comparing to the Xsight Color or the R50.

They aren't shortcomings, they are feature upgrades on step-up models. You aren't going to get Musting performance on a Focus budget.

Which remote? anyhomeneeds, Sounds like you did not think so? Perhaps I misunderstood the terminology? I thought multi-device macros meant you can program one macro to turn on TV, turn on DVD, turn on Receiver, select input for TV, .... Is there any other way to program macros in high-end remotes? I'm relatively new to this, so please elaborate.

Nearly any remote made by Universal Electronics can do multi-device macros, using the 995 command. The cheapest of these is the OneForAll 6131N at $15. The RCA RCRP05B and the OFA URC-8820 are $20, or less from web suppliers. Comcast has distributed about 25 million remotes which do multi device macros. TimeWarner and other cable companies supply Atlas remotes. The cable company remotes are roughly $20, but typically don't learn.
For most of these remotes, macros are limited to 15 or 20 steps, where any button press is a step.
Another useful feature: buttons are individually programmable, so discrete commands can be added, even if they aren't available in the original remote.
Of course, there's no LCD display, and most don't have backlights.
