I was looking at the Denon site lst night and all the
remote codes are missing ?

They seem to have removed them from the "products" section and are now only in the support section. For the 5308, look here:

The link above allows you to select the type of product and model and download the "binary codes".

John... Thanks for all your hard work over the years and makehex.

I have taken every code for the AVP A1 HDCI and converted them to hex. I have place a descriptor label for each code and categorized them by function and organized them within text documents to facilitate easy copying into any program. It resulted in 13 text files that I have zipped into one file.
If anyone wants to host the file let me know.

HI Folks,

Rob - great job with the VB app. I have also used the one Paul Friedlander put together several years ago, which was great but that was before the K codes.

I have put together a config for a client, to control the Denon ASD-3n iPod doc.

I'll let you know if they work ok.

Thx again for the nice work, all of you and of course John Fine!

Don / Dave, glad you've found the app useful.

Look forward to know how you got on with the iPod dock.

Rob.

Just to resurrect this old thread...

I've just updated DenonHexGen to support entry of Kaseikyo codes using hex values. I have submitted the new version and hopefully it will be available soon.

If anyone wants it before then, please get in touch.

Rob.
