Hello everyone, I am new here so if this is posted wrong then my apoligies. My question is can I control 4 of the same Tvs independently. I would like to be able to power on any tv without powering on all 4 because all TVs are the same when pressing power button all 4 TVs come on. I also want to be able to control the input for any tv. I have 2 Bluray players and 2 RoKu boxes and 2 cable boxes. I would like to be able to pick and choose what input to what tv and also to power those devices on independently . Now with all that said can this be done with URC and a base station and if so what is recommended. Thanks!

Setup
4 Sony Bravia TV
2 Sony BDP S580
2Roku Boxes
2 Dish Network boxes

Yes. Can be accomplished pretty easily. You could do it with one MRF350 with dual emitters or splicing two together. Or get two MRF350's. each MRF350 has 6 assignable IR ports. In programming just assign TV1 to port 1, TV2 to port 2... When you program for TV1 to power on, the signal only gets sent to IR port 1. Just make sure you set it for RF only or the remote will spit out IR as well and all tvs will power on.

Yes, it will work. That equipment is a bit older now. Be careful with what OS you run as the MSC400 I believe will not run on Windows 7 if memory serves correctly. I haven't worked with one in a few years to be honest.

it will run on windows 7, so long as it is 32 bit.  the msc400 is not compatible with 64 bit operating systems.   i installed Windows XP Mode on my Windows 7 64bit laptop to get around this issue.

Ahh. Knew there was some compatibility issue, just wasn't sure what it was. Thanks John.
