Yes, it will work. That equipment is a bit older now. Be careful with what OS you run as the MSC400 I believe will not run on Windows 7 if memory serves correctly. I haven't worked with one in a few years to be honest.
it will run on windows 7, so long as it is 32 bit. the msc400 is not compatible with 64 bit operating systems. i installed Windows XP Mode on my Windows 7 64bit laptop to get around this issue.
