Pro Control has just announced the iPro.8 Companion Controller, which is a simple low-cost hard buttoned remote designed to complement company's iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch control solutions. This September at CEDIA in Indianapolis, new RTI spinoff company PRO Control will officially debut their inaugural product lineup. This includes two hybrid remote controls, two central control processors, plus a unique solution that combines software for a smartphone, tablet or PC with a basic hard buttoned remote control. Updated! Remote Technologies Inc. is branching out with a new marketing identify under the Pro Control name and a completely new series of products targeted to custom installers. RTI doesn’t normally exhibit at CES. I’m not even sure it’s happened in the past. However RTI’s press agency recently sent out a bit of a teaser email, claiming that the company will be exhibiting. And cross-referencing that with the official CES 2010 exhibitor list has revealed that they will indeed be there, but not under the usual Remote Technologies Inc. name. Read more...
