I just purchased the MX-950 and I have it programmed to turn on and off most of my components. However, I can't get it to function with my DirecTV DVR. I have model HR20 (700).

Anyone else having this problem?
Latest news I have is that 25 Rev 2 units are now shipping out per week.
With some additional updates over the weekend we've moved from 852 to 890 universal remote control manuals... keep them coming!
So far, due to the amount of time it takes to assemble one, the fact that it's still really in testing, and the overwhelming number of emails, he's been selling small numbers mostly locally. However he's also been working on a do-it-yourself kit which would be more mass-marketable.

In fact I just received the first "version 2" of the IR4PS3 two days ago... this is the black box version where you take the circuit board out of a Sony PS3 remote you already own, snap it into his circuit (no soldering), and you're ready to go.
Interesting...somebody else came out with a solution.

Daniel, have you heard anything new about this. I emailed him back in January I think. Obviously it isn't ready or it would have been posted around the web. Do you have any insight into this? Thanks! Dave
Will the Logitech Harmony 1000 work with my Sony #E9000ES processor?
As an owner of the previous version labeled by Acoustic Research I'm happy to see that tvCompass is moving forward with an updated model. The current version is not without some relatively minor problems but overall it is a good home theater remote. Hopefully this new version has given tvCompass a chance to polish the UI and other features.
Actually, this is the first Harmony I've ever bought. That's why finding it pre-programmed with my components really surprised me. I was using a Pronto TS1000 for the master bedroom system and and TS3000 for the main theater system. Before that, I was using a One-For-All URC8080 A/V Producer 8. And before that I was trying to get a Yamaha DSP-A1000 remote to run everything [ran out of memory]. I've always had problems running out of memory on universal remotes until I bought my first pronto. I even filled up the Control Central trying to do everything with a Sony receiver, XBR TV, and a SuperBeta HiFi deck. Its still around here in a box somewhere.
Wow, someone who actually used a Control Central!

If you had previously owned a Harmony, and used the same login information, then your settings would have been (mostly) transferred over to the new model.
Daniel, this may be the coolest universal remote I've ever bought ... and I go all the way back to the GE Control Central in 1985. The Harmony One beats out both my Pronto remotes hands down. The backlighting and readability is fantastic while my Prontos are dim and hard to read. The Harmony rests comfortably in my hand with one thumb operation [left and right handed] while my Prontos are big and clunky, requiring one hand to hold and one hand to press screen buttons. Setup was unbelievably simple ... I didn't even have to enter my components. Somehow, inexplicably, this remote and/or software already had all my components entered!!! All I had to do was delete my Dishnetwork box [not currently installed] and add in my Cox cable box. After a little label editing for comfort, everything worked perfectly. While the troubleshooting stuff is a little too simple for us techie people, the remote setup software is both extremely simple and extremely powerful to use. I am beyond impressed. I'll be getting another one for the bedroom system. My prontos are going onto the eBay block very soon.
Do you suppose they might be so ingeneous as to provide a manual?
