‘Ghosted’: Ally Walker To Star In Fox Comedy Pilot Written by Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment) and directed by Jonathan Krisel, Ghosted centers on a cynical skeptic (Craig Robinson) and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Adam Scott), who are recruited by the Bureau Underground to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles – all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race. Walker will play Captain Lafrey, head of the Underground Investigative Services.

The CW Renews 'Riverdale' For Season 2In what amounts to a major win for the ginger community, The CW has renewed Riverdale for a second season.
After debuting in January to 1.4 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, the Archie Comics-inspired drama thus far is averaging 1.2 mil and a 0.5 — ranking behind Supernatural as The CW’s No. 2 non-superhero show. It also enjoys DVR playback bumps of 78 and 85 percent in the young-skewing Adults 18-34 and Women 18-34 demos.
Meanwhile, the jury is still out on The 100 and the yet-to-return iZombie and The Originals. The Vampire Diaries will air its series finale this Friday and it was previously announced that Reign’s upcoming fourth season would be its last. Riverdale‘s fellow freshman entries Frequency and No Tomorrow are not expected to be back, although neither series has been officially cancelled. Tegna Replacing ‘T.D. Jakes’ With ‘BOLD’ The show will originate from a studio being built by Tegna in Denver, where the company owns KUSA. It will feature several live feeds a day to stations in all four U.S. time zones. Stations are being offered the half-hour show on a cash-and-barter basis and they will have the option to buy two of them and run them consecutively.

Nearly two years ago, the U.K.-based tabloid news site DailyMail said that it was teaming with Dr. Phil McGraw and his son Jay on a daytime talk show. It appears that those plans are finally coming to fruition.
Sinclair and Tribune have agreed to carry the show, giving it the clearances it needs to get off the ground this fall, according to informed sources.
Tribune reaches 44% of the TV homes; Sinclair, 39%. However, the groups have overlapping stations in around 12 markets, including Washington, Seattle, St. Louis and Portland, Ore. The overlaps reduce the groups' combined coverage.
CBS Television Distribution is handling distribution. By Harry A. JessellTVNewsCheck, March 27, 2017 4:31 PM EDT
