Just wanted to update anyone who is (still!) patiently waiting for me to finish Super-Nudelist. I can't believe I thought it was take such a short time to write. :-)

Anyway, an update of my progress and some new screenshots can be found here:

If that's slow for you, it's mirrored here:

If you're interested in testing and haven't mailed me already, feel free to do so by clicking that little icon up above, or the various links on my webpage.

Just a reminder, Super-Nudelist will be free.

Thank you very much.

This looks great! I used nudelist to program my pronto with all the DVD's in my Pioneer DV-F07. But I haven't done CD's yet because I was concerned that it would be to difficult to update. But this looks like the answer to my prayers. Thanks for the great work, my looking forward to seeing the new version.

Leo, I'm looking forward for your program too. It's a pain the way I use to enter all these DVD/CD list (all manual) and if I need to add another new CD/DVD, I'll need to re-sort the list manually. I'm sure all DVD/CD changer users will appreciate your work.

Hi, thanks for all the support here and via e-mail! If I haven't mailed you, don't worry, I'm just avoiding spamming your inbox until there's something worth spamming about. :-)

Is it possible for one to change the ccf graphics with custom ones? The grahics used are nice but don't mach with my DT based ccf

You'll be able to change the graphics but not the layout. In other words, you can replace the images it uses with a set of images that are the same size.

If anyone has alternative graphics that they'd like to share, please send them to me and I'll include them in the release for everyone.

At this stage I don't think I'll ever do fully customisable layouts because I doubt that many people would use such a feature. HOWEVER, I will accept layout designs from people and hard-code them in as alternatives. It seems less work for me to hard-code three layouts, say, than to write a fully generic system that only three people use. :-)

I'll also be releasing the source-code.

I see. Do you think it's possible to squeeze in a full screen thin border frame like the one's used by Daniel and others? It would greatly increase consistency with existing ccfs

BTW, I have used other disk changer utilities to create ccfs with mp3 lists to contol winamp running on a pc next to my av system with the Philips ir keyboard.
You can have this use in mind too, regarding supernudelist.

Should be easy enough to add a border.

How do you tell the PC to play a specific mp3? By number? By filename?

By number. Winamp does not support selecting by number by default. I use a freeware application called winampjumper. There is also a winamp plugin to do the same thing but it's slower...

Just want to point out that if you have an IRman (www.evation.com), there is a WinAMP plugin available that allows you to create a text file with a list of playlists. Then, by entering numbers followed by a 'Load Playlist' IR command (like a CD changer would work), the playlist on line 'nnn' of the created text file is played. I am using this approach with Nudelist to create an 'MP3 jukebox' with the Pronto.

Cool :) I was worried I'd have to add support for letters/filenames as well as numbers. :-)

Super-Nudelist will work with anything where you press one button (or macro, or nothing), then key a number and press another button (or marco, or nothing).

First of all, don't get too excited because I haven't finished porting the CCF generation code yet so it's not that useful, but I've put online a version of Super-Nudelist for people to check out. Let me know if you have any problems or suggestions.

It does NOT create CD lists yet! Don't download it unless you want to test out the GUI or just have an early look.

Hope you like it! More info and a to-do list is on the webpage (links at the top of this thread).
