I bought a Polaroid TV for my mother-in-law. Now I find that the universal remote has no TV codes for Polaroid. Does anyone know which manufacturer makes polaroid? They probably use the same codes. THANKS!

The only Polaroid TV that I have data for is the FLM-3201and we had to create a custom protocol to control this in the JP1 world, so your re-badged theory isn't looking too good.

In whatever universal remote you have, give the Mitsubishi tv codes a try.

Worked for me - have the Polaroid FLM-2011, wanted to use a remote from Samsung DVD-R120 (DVR). Used Mitsubishi tv codes and it picked one of them up. Thanks!

[Link: polaroid.custhelp.com] is the URL where polaroid lists the Universal remote codes for their TVs. I have the FLM-1511, and my codes are listed as 0150 or 1276. Actually, they list the very same codes for the FLM-2011. What a trip! You almost think that 'Ambrose Monk" created their product manuals! LOL

Here's a cleaner version of that URL: [Link: polaroid.custhelp.com]Here's the technical info for each of those TV codes (for those that are interested): 0019 = NEC1, device code 4 0054 = RC-5, device codes 0 and 3 0150 = Mits, device code 71 0178 = NEC1, device code 4 0765 = NEC1, device code 64 1256 = NEC1, device code 64 1276 = $0057, device code 71 I don't have data for the following codes... 1262 = ??? 1314 = ??? 1316 = ???

PLEASE HELP! I have purchased a refurbished FLM-2011-HDTV Monitor. It did not come with the remote. I have read all posts above and cannot get my Charter cable / Scientific Atlanta universal remote (3 digit codes) to program to this TV. I have even tried an RCA (4 digit codes) remote and also cannot find the right code. I currently have it plugged into to aux power outlet on my cable box so I can turn the TV off by turning off the cable box, but I must get up and physically turn the TV on by hand and it's getting annoying. Does anyone have another code or can someone tell me of a universal remote that might work with this TV? THANKS!

I have FLM-1511 and the latest receiver from Direct. Apparently the Direct remote will only accept 5 digit codes so I added a 1 to the 1276 code offered by Polaroid and it worked. Lovely. Obviously a cheap TV comes with a few "drawbacks".

This forum was helpful to me. So here are my findings for the FLM-3232 on a Dish Network remote control. [Link: polaroid.custhelp.com] The codes listed for FLM-3232-LCD TV are 0019, 0178, 1276. However according to the Dish Network Manual, all the codes listed are 3 digit codes. So for the FLM-3232, use code 127 (drop the last digit (6). This took some time to figure out so I hope this will be helpful. MXZ.

It was just coincidence, that dish used code 127 and the UEI code 1276. get the idea?

THE UEI TV code for polaroid tv/dvd combo is 1991. The dvd code equivalent of that code is dvd 1480. if they're not in your remote you're out of luck.
