Hello. I have bought a set of q50 and nc50 on ebay. Now i'm trying to make them communicate, but when i'm adding ecosystem hardware nc-50 is not recognized via usb, NSP says "confirm nevoconnect is powered and connected to this computer". Also i tried to detect nc-50 with q50 by doing this

1Press the top menu bar on the Nevo screen
2Select Settings
3Select Advanced
4Select Ecosystem
5The "Show All Active" option will show all devices that are working. Your NC-50 should be there.

But still nothing((
Nc-50 just glows blue and nothing more. Any advise?

Try contact a local programmer.

They will get it up and running in no time.

The problem is i'm a local programmer. Remotes cost 5xtimes more expensive at our local dealers so i boutht it on us ebay for myself. So i cant just go to dealer and repair/diagnose/replace it.

Is this actually the case though?
Are not the Q50 and NC50 Products all the same, and then they can be programmed to operate on either the US frequency or the Euro frequency?
Or do you know different?

Yes for sure. The US units operate on 908.42 Mhz. Europe on 868.42 Mhz. Australia and New Zealand on 921.42.

No mixing within any of the products.

Yes region limitations are hardware. But both q50 and nc50 are american and i know it is ok for me, a want to control just av devices, the problem is nc50 is invisible for my PC. Usb connection cant be established. And q50 also doesn't see nc50.

Yanovik,

Did you try to MANUALLY add in the mac address of the NC50 into the software on the project you are working on instead of using the USB connection?

if the nevoconnect was new in box when you received it, it will have to have a firmware update in order to work.  (assuming you are using Nevostudio 3.0)

so you are going to have to get the usb connected either way.

the nevoconnect manual explains how to do a factory reset.   It has been awhile, but I believe you have to hold in the reset for about 10 seconds.

Might be a bad NC50? It is usually pretty easy to get it up and running for the download. Maybe your USB cable is bad? Tried different USB ports on your PC?
