Well, being a weird magnet, I was excited to get the 512MB card for my new Olympus Stylus Verve camera a couple weeks ago so I could record the weirdness that follows me on the fly.

My Wife calls me "Monk" sometimes because I witness soooo much odd and stuff.

I've found a dead body in the woods, I've seen accident's where bodies are thrown from the vehicle. I've chased a hit and run driver in front of me for almost a mile before capturing the offender in an alley. I've chased thieves down Michigan Avenue on foot. I've reasoned with one of Oprahs stalkers while doing a painting in a park downtown. I've been kicked in the ass by Oprahs stocking foot on set years earlier, I saw a guy get run over on a bike. I've spent time talking with Halle Barry on numerous occasions as well as other stars I happen to meet in the oddest circumstances. I watched a gigantic sign just blow over in front of a medical center a month or so ago and nearly crush a car with people in it. I was on the train while the tracks were on fire. I saw a man throw "evidence" off a bridge into the river that I retrieved. I found bones in the woods, I found a stolen and busted open safe.... I have no list, but It goes on and on.... Much of it is not horrible, but it's definitely WEIRD. My friends even say weird things happen when they're with me.

So last night I'm coming home and I see a guy drive over a parking block with "boot" On his rear wheel and the security guard chasing on foot.

The driver is screeching down the street so I pick up the guard and give him a lift. When the driver is stopped at a light, the guard jumps on his hood and goes several blocks... On the hood.. After a brief run, I catch up and get good video with audio as I circle the car a couple times with the guy on top. The guy driving lurches forward while I film him and he makes odd gestures to me and my camera. I have to return to me van, and find the driver has left the hood safely when I catch up again, but the driver is screeching down the street for several more blocks before pulling into an alley to check his tire.

What does one do with weird news. I know I'll have more. I have to take this new video into the police station today so they can review and archive it for the court date.

Isn't technology wonderful?
