On January 7th, the night time temperature got down to -23C degrees, and the forecast for next Wednesday the 22nd it is expected to drop down to -20C.

Also, when it got down to -23C, the Toronto area got "frost quakes", something we had never heard of before. Mini quakes that would shake the house and make a loud boom sound. You learn something new every day.

Rain? We'll take it. We're in the midst of a record drought.

Got maybe 1/2" of snow this evening.

It'll all be gone by noon tomorrow.

Maybe I'll head out to the beach... :-)

I don't worry so much, now that my days of freezing my nuts off at work are a distant memory.
