oh i also seem to remember a member called wes mullings who was about patenting his new standard which seemed to be conduit to push any cable up a tube.. probably a industry great now was about ten years ago ish we all extracted the urine at the time i seem to recall in my drunken stupor |

Wesley's idea was to create a certification for "future proof" homes where there would be "bundled cable" throughout the whole house in insanely large quantities and the bundled cable would include several cat5 and rj6 in it (or something like that) so that they could be terminated with what is needed at the time of use. Everyone was busy telling how ridiculous it is to believe you can future proof a home, wire wise. |
