apart from Daniel ,who is amazing and has the ultimate site ..i am thinking of starting a forum a php bog standard thing in a totally different area nothing to do with remotes using free hosting as
1. its a bit of fun and i dont want to win site of the year or anything.
2. i have no money
3. it might be just me and three other people moaning.
4. i dont want to spend too much time running it.

If anyone has experience of running a tiny forum i would be interested in any advise you have.

Yes...I run a 27 member (and sluggishly growing) hockey forum on Aceboard.

I'm also in the process of creating a Parrothead forum, also on Aceboard.

My CSS editing skills aren't good enough to let me get a forum through something better like Invision Power Boards.

No...Invision Boards requires you know how to edit CSS.

If you use Aceboard or Proboards it pretty much lets you specify the colors and the images and then does it for you.

Join the club.

3. it might be just me and three other people moaning.

4, including me (and 5, if I can drag Mike away from his model train boards).

4. i dont want to spend too much time running it.

Don't expect me to be T.W.A.T. monitor.

At least he didn't cock up the "Off Topic Area". I'd have been a little miffed had the quiz threads disappeared; I'm poised to go leaping up the table this week.
