So I just got back from Target.
I wanted to pick up a copy of Pop Sci since my subscription ran out and they had the 100 best issue..
Anyhow... at the register... They wouldn't let me buy it. Took it away from me.
It had been recalled?
WTFIT!?

Huh? I've got my subscription copy. Is it worth anything? Albeit slightly torn (rip in the cover). I wanted another one because of the Periodic Table thing.

I went back... They (popsci) were all gone, but I did get some tinsel.. And they shorted me 18 of the 500 promised strands... What's up with that!?

Anyhow... at the register... They wouldn't let me buy it. Took it away from me. I'm pretty sure that's actually illegal. If somethings on display, it's for sale unless there is a sign indicating otherwise, i.e.:"Not For Sale" At least that's the way it works over here in Australia... ...but then again, we are upside-down. ;)

Not so in dear ol' Blighty. A shopkeeper has the right to refuse to serve anyone.

Refuse to serve, yeah for sure. But to take something out of your hand and tell you all of sudden it's not for sale? That's BS!
That would be the same as me taking a component to a clients house, installing it, liking it too much and saying "Sorry, you can' have this" all of a sudden. And then not give a reason. That's wrong.
