I'd like to attach a drawing that I did to describe a problem I'm having but can't seem to find out how. I did a search for info on this (searched using "attaching pictures" and "how to attach files") but got nothing that helped. How do you do this here. Other forums I frequent have a browse field that allows you to attach.

Thanks,
Mike

you can't. But if you host it elsewhere, you can link to it using a normal HTML tag

<.img src="address">

where address is the address of the link

ie for

it would be
img src=""

So simple when you know how...but it's the knowing how!

It's generally accepted (around here anyway) that the best way to learn is to check out the html via the "Quote and Reply". It's amazing what one can learn.

The great Mr Klatauu taught me that you can press edit on anyones post and see there code ,you can't edit there post but you can see it.
this allows you to figure out how they have done stuff.

I use http://www.imageshack.us/ for the image hosting

also if you see something you like on someone else's post like

how to centre

bold
italics
fonts that was fonts by the way in symbol
different sizes
colours
fancy links

all you need to do is click on edit post and you will see what is actually there. (obviously you cannot save the edits if it is not your post) but that is how I learnt most of the stuff.

Mr Griffiths we all learnt stuff that way. (i.e. "edit" others posts)also helps if you want to copy something.

Also since it is standard HTML you can usually just google for te answer or copy from an other website (go to web site and on your browser click on view source)
