Neer as I can figure, all speakers are analogue! ;-)

'lest you have one of them Munster cable directional speaker wires.

THEN they might be 'digital' (IF it say's it on the wire)!

The best of anything has a lot of variables.

The best sounding...

The easiest to integrate...

The best support....

The best looking....

The least amount of DOA's...

It all depends.
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Proud to say that my property is protected by a high speed wireless device!

I don't believe in best, it all depends on needs and wants and every situation is different. It is like saying what is the best food or best flavour ice cream.

For a valid, albeit personal, reply one would need to have heard a wide (if not enormous) variety of differing equipment; ergo I cannot, in all honesty, reply.

PS
Re. Digital speaker.
Perhaps the thinking is along the lines of Meridian - with their own "On Board" DA converters

Thats what i thought of but how many other companies make speakers with on board DA converters and amplification?

so the winner is Meridian
