do you intend to make use of the new drinking laws

1.yes i intend to spend 24hrs a day in the pub now
2.yeah it'll be good to have an extra hour or so to drink on a fri/sat
3.maybe, just have to wait and see

5.no it's a disgrace
6.im a teetotaller

so what is the new law? are bars/pubs aloud to go 24h now? Know of any good jobs in the UK :)

Okay, something of a jaundiced view, but I very much dislike all the alcohol fuelled anti-social behaviour.

Having said that, however, the new laws will at least stop the rather ridiculous practice of closing off supermarket alcohol aisles at 3:00PM on a Sunday.

Currently in England MON to SAT at 11.30 PM last orders are called at the bar and no more drinks can be sold on SUN last orders is at 10.30PM. night clubs get a licence to open later.
What this causes is just before 11.30 on FRI and SAT loads of people order several drinks and throw them down ,then stagger on to the streets looking for a kebab ,curry,or fight.
It's a nightmare getting a taxi because every one wants one at the same time.
The idea of the new laws is to spread this chaos out but it is more likely that for the first year it will result in more crimes,violence,marriage split ups until we "get" the continental way of drinking.
