Hi,

I'm new on the forum and guess, I should introduce myself a little bit.

My real name is Alexander and I live in Germany, nearby to the dutch border.
I'm 40 years old, married and have a nearly 12 years old son.

My hobbies are my home cinema (for equipment please refer my sig), computer and my familiy (not imlicitly in this order ;) ).

I work as a product manager for mobile video systems in a medium sized company doing sales, distribution import and export on automotive products.

I hope, to learn a lot about my Pronto and, in the future, to help other newbies with similar problems and questions.

Best regards

Alexander

My name is Anthony, live in Canada (Montreal region but not on the island) 35y and single, have been on RC since 1999 when I came looking for a solution for a project I was working on. Chose a Pronto and have been a fan ever since. I am also a fan of Harmony remotes. And even though have never owned or used an HTM remote I have been reading about them for years and they do look like nice remotes.

Hi Mr. Griffiths,

thanks a lot for your warm words.
I can see, that a lot of our hobbies are the same (like beer, sorry, I forgot to specify).

I'm a fan of Indiana Jones movies.
Therefore I use Indiana as a nick whenever it's possible.

Kind regards

Alexander

Hi Alexander,

My name is Matt and I live in Lincoln, Nebraska, which is just about the exact center of the United States. I am 30 yrs old, married with no children. I am part owner of a custom installation and retail store. We sell B&W, Rotel, Meridian, and Genelec just to name a few. We work alot with the URC remotes, which is how I found this site about five years ago. There are so many great resources (read members) here, which keeps everybody around.......I think. I guess it could also be guys like Mr Griffiths who keep you laughin'.

I would put my likes down, but like I said I'm part owner of a company and I work too much to remember:)

Anyway, welcome to RC, hope to read many more posts from you.

Mr. Griffiths, I'd post my singing........but we want to keep people coming back, not drive them away:) I'm not saying anything about your singing, as it doesn't suck!!! Must have had a few before singing, huh? Is that your picture on your link? If so, you don't look anything like I thought you would (you're younger than I imagined).

yep it's me and a recent piccy too .
It's funy when i record my voice i dont think it sounds like me and when i take my picture i dont think it looks like me.It just go's to show what an ego i have !!

I am much worse sounding and looking than in my head.(If that is possible)
One of the good things about RC IS the image you get of other RC members in your head and after making these images of what someone is like i am sure i would be amazed at what members look like in real life.
