(but the vizio commercial was quite humorous)

It was a compelling message, but I felt like it wasn't a good message.

They have LT, one of the greats in the NFL right now, as a spokesperson and didn't use him as an endorser in their Superbowl commercial.

Their message was also insulting to anyone who doesn't own a Vizio.

I'm a big boy, and took it like a man and laughed last night, but shaming your potential customers in front of 20 of their closest friends is a very bad move. It made the host of the party and TV owner the butt of a joke.

I hate the Steelers, but they are a damn good team, the Cards gave a hell of an effort, one of the best games I've ever seen.

I looked at the bottom of my screen and it said Stewart Filmscreen. Then turned arround at my projector that said Runco. I think my clients who were there prefered the game the way we saw it.

2 bad calls by the officials had game changing results. The NFL has to get a handle on these bad refs.

Not that i'm a fan of either team, or football for that matter, but I usually always watch the super bowl. At least most of it. There was some very unfair stuff in this game. I think the bad calls were total bs. But hey, it was a great battle. I think either team deserved to win.

I'd like to know which 2 calls you thought changed the game?

As far as I'm concerned, the only call in the whole game that was "questionable" was the holding call that created the safety. It looked to me like Hartwig got run over.

Overall, I thought is one of the best called games of the entire season. First time in MONTHS that holding has been called on the linemen that were covering Harrison. He's been getting raped most of the season.

Harrison was a monster last night, has been all season though. 270 lbs and running stride for stride with Fitzgerald.

What it said to people who don't own a Vizio is "you spent too much on your TV, you sucker".

It's an offensive message, when someone has spent their hard-earned dollars on a television set of higher quality than Vizio.

I'd veto any ad concept that came across my desk with a message telling my prospective customer "Hey, idiot, you wasted money on our competitor's product. Why don't you wise up and buy one of ours?"

That, to me, is the message Vizio delivered last night. Bad idea. But then, what do I know? They're a 2 billion dollar company.

Hyundai didn't say "hey, go look in your garage. If there isn't a Hyundai in there, you got ripped off!". Their message was all about the merits of their product, how the Genesis won the Car of the Year award, and how they were reasonably priced. There was no personally insulting edge to those commercials.

2 bad calls were
1. Roughing the passer, the defender was 2 feet away from Rotheleswhatshisname when he released the ball. no one could have stopped to avoid hitting him
2. Roughing the holder, the rushing defender was pushed and lost his balance. In trying to keep his balance he ran into the holder.

Harrison should have been ejected for punching the downed player. The personal foul call resulted in a 1ft penalty.

It was a fun game to watch in the 4th quarter. The last play should have been ruled as an incomplete pass if the similar play earlier in the game was a pass. I would have like to see one last Hail Mary attempt for an additional twist.
