Power On and Off?

No.
But then I never turn off my gear.

Is it this one?
The PS3IR+PWR device is in the development stage. It has all of the features of the PS3IRX1 plus the ability to switch the PS3 power ON and OFF. Power switching is accomplished by spoofing a touch key event on the front panel. A small sticker is placed over the 0/1 front panel button. This sticker contains a very thin copper layer that is connected to the device via a tiny black wire. After the upgrade, the front panel button is still available for manual touch key operation. The wire can be hidden by routing it under the PS3. This an entirely benign upgrade so, no modifications of the PS3 are required.
The guy at AVS already has a working nub which works like the NYKO or perhaps better.

the Scoop goes behind the donkey.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Nope, this is nothing like that (no "stickers" needed). Also if you look at the code mapping table there, it doesn't support any of the advanced functions. Also did I mention this can be completely invisible. :-)

This thread is reminding me a lot of my wife, a lot of teasing with no "happy ending." How about an answer already.

come on guys, it is Daniel. I am sure if he started the thread there is definitely something there.

From the first post I am guessing someone developed a solution for his home (or something) and is wondering if this could be turned into a commercial endeavour.

I've got the PS3IRX1 (standard version), and it works flawlessly, no need to search for clean codes, browsing the PS3 menu is lightning fast.

I was considering getting the new one, but a new solution with FULL control is interesting.

Make sure you can ship outside USA, please :)
