Found a new problem: I can't send the channel codes two times: 7 + 7 is impossible... :(

Yeah, they are Toggle (Parity) Bit codes. Parity bit: Some remote controls change their codes each time the signal is sent. For instance, if you press the number "5" the code would end in a "0". The second time you press it the code ends in "1". The problem with this is that a learning remote control can learn only one of those signals – not both. Thus, such devices typically will not respond to a universal remote when you send the same code twice in a row (for instance the channel "55"). For more help on this problem click here. Also known as a toggle bit. See also: learning.
Usually this can be avoided by using short hex codes (616A codes) like the ones I gave you to try but not in this case.

Here is a clean version of the Cursor Up + Fast Forward that you said kind of worked.
0000 0073 0000 003C 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 09AC 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 09AC

Seems like it's the "fast forward", not the "cursor up"? How did you unhinged this code?

To send 77 you would need to send this,
Device Code: 38.82 (0x26.0x52) Function: 7 (0x07) T=0 0000 0073 0000 001F 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 09BC
Device Code: 38.82 (0x26.0x52) Function: 7 (0x07) T=1 0000 0073 0000 001E 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 09BC
which is painful to do.
What you could do is have all your buttons send 2 codes to avoid the Toggle Bit. I have not tried this but in theory it should work.
E.G. Button 7 have, Device Code: 38.82 (0x26.0x52) Function: 7 (0x07) T=0 0000 0073 0000 001F 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 09BC
Then on the same button have another code that does not effect what you are sending.
You Device should accept this code ( I hope) but not do anything. If not you will have to try one of your learnt codes instead. Device Code: 38.82 (0x26.0x52) Function: 10 (0x0A) T=0 0000 0073 0000 001E 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 09AC

Hi, I've managed to get control for Dreambox (VU+) working over HTTP, using help from here:- [Link: remotecentral.com]and [Link: dream.reichholf.net]and [Link: dream.altmaster.net]what I need assistance with is sending channel numbers, ie. sending channel code 110, so 1, 1 and then 0. A single command is formatted like this:- var socket = new TCPSocket(false); socket.onConnect = function() { socket.write("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=113 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") socket.close(); }; socket.onClose = function() { }; socket.onIOError = function(e) { label = "Error: " + e; }; socket.connect('192.168.0.3',80,3000); I've tried sending the same piece of script three times, and pasting the socketwrite three times, but neither work? The box is capable of receiving the commands, as sending this command three times with a web browser works fine [Link: 192.168.0.3]Cheers, Lee

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have all the commands now. They were available in the third link that I posted.
To get the channel numbers working, I've tried:-
var socket = new TCPSocket(false); socket.onConnect = function() { socket.write("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=113 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") socket.close(); }; socket.onClose = function() { }; socket.onIOError = function(e) { label = "Error: " + e; }; socket.connect('192.168.0.3',80,3000);
var socket = new TCPSocket(false); socket.onConnect = function() { socket.write("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=113 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") socket.close(); }; socket.onClose = function() { }; socket.onIOError = function(e) { label = "Error: " + e; }; socket.connect('192.168.0.3',80,3000);
var socket = new TCPSocket(false); socket.onConnect = function() { socket.write("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=113 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") socket.close(); }; socket.onClose = function() { }; socket.onIOError = function(e) { label = "Error: " + e; }; socket.connect('192.168.0.3',80,3000);
i.e. the same command in prontoscript three times, and this
var socket = new TCPSocket(false); socket.onConnect = function() { socket.write("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=113 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") socket.write("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=113 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") socket.write("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=113 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") socket.close(); }; socket.onClose = function() { }; socket.onIOError = function(e) { label = "Error: " + e; }; socket.connect('192.168.0.3',80,3000);
i.e. the socket write command three times.
Neither work?
Anyone able to help?
Cheers, Lee

Sorry but you didn't read my answer until the end or my explanation is bad
command=113 correspond to send a mute command to your box.
You MUST send ONLY one key in each request. To zap to channel 110 you have to do something like
..("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=2 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") <= Key 1 ..("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=2 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") <= Key 1 ..("GET /web/remotecontrol?command=11 HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n") <= Key 0
Regards
