I have a Windows 7 Professional 64Bit machine and can upload/download without a problem to both my MX-5000 and MSC-400.
You just need to install Windows virtual PC. Then install a copy of Windows XP in virtual PC. Install CCP in your Virtual Windows XP. Install drivers for your remote and MSC-400 within Windows XP and you're done!
When you first plug in your MSC-400; Windows 7 will say that it couldn't install drivers correctly. Ignore this and open the USB tab in Virtual XP mode (Top left) and look for "unknown device". This will be your MSC-400. Follow the instructions and point the install to the Universal Remote Control/MSC-400/ Drivers/XP folder under the program folders usually located on the C:drive.
Remotes are done the same way! I hope this helps!

Thanks, but I actually still have my older XP laptop that I bring on jobs as well. I have had so many issues with my Win7 machine that I will most likely be replacing it soon. I will look into running Virtual PC at that point.
