I can tell you that this dealer you spoke you isn't telling you the whole story.

First off, the Q50 and S70 are rock solid products and have no connectivity issues or any programming issues.
The first Gen NevoSL had wifi connectivity issues but Nevo has corrected those problems on the S70.

There is no tech support for an end user for Nevo other than the authorized dealer who should do the programming and support. Tech Support has all the authorized dealers in their database and when a end user calls in - they do a check.

You are correct that the remote comes with the software and this gets you access to the Nevo site. If you are familar with programming touchscreen remotes - this one may be easy for you. If not, I'd recommend get an authorized dealer to do the programming.

With the S70, it has Wifi on board which allow a remote dealer in another state to do the programming at his office - ship you the remote and remotely make any changes that are required from his office.

Go to www.mynevo.com and near the bottom - their is a link to find dealers.
