yes, i have the 7000. my bitmaps were done at
16 mil. Pages (240x303) are between 90 & 120k.
Buttons are between 2 1/2 and 5k. All saved
as png.
Did you say 16 million colors? :-P If you are using 16 mil. images your .pcf file is certainly not optimized to get the most out of the memory in the remote. The image quality will not degrade that much if you reduce your images to 256 color. In turn, this will reduce the size of your .pcf file dramatically. Once the 32 meg firmware update comes out you'll have all the breathing room you need hopefully.
