Please pardon me if I am budding in where I don't belong, however...

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you are experiencing. However I wonder if the suggestion isn't being made to offer a solution that not only provides for a more robust system that gives you less headachesmight but possibly adds features to the forum. Like e-mail notification of responses to posts, etc.
