Believe it or not, this is not a forum issue... at least nothing that wouldn't happen to any other forum software. The issue is a program is crashing and creating a huge file that's sucking up my disk quota space. For example, the system thinks I'm using, say, 1050MB out of a limit of 1000MB. Thus, anything that currently exists and is re-writen (forum index, user file, etc) is instead deleted. If the forum had all the disk space it needed, this wouldn't be an issue (I've been bugging the sysadmin for a few weeks now about this).

Now, the program that's crashing IS part of the forum -- the thread keyword highlight code. I have not been able to figure out what exactly. A week and a half ago I located and fixed what I thought to be the problem, but I guess there's something else. :-P
