This is the case. The Sony BD remote will be somewhere

Same for me with my Harmony 880.

Not so sure about that. The Sony OS is expecting the 'Sony
BD Remote for PS3' ID when synching the device with the
PS3.

Why 'Guitar Heroes III for PS3' is not BlueTooth? Could
it be that Sony wants to keep some of the BlueTooth feature
proprietary? I don't have the answer to this. If there
is someone out there that has successfully used a non-Sony
BlueTooth device (excluding keyboard/mouse) than I'm wrong.

Oh, thank you for the explanation. Guess I misunderstood the original concept.
