I now have a wireless network consisting of

a Linksys WAG 354G ADSL Wireless Gateway.

It took less than two hours to set up( which is good for me!)

It has built in airport extreme and it took me a while of googling to figure out that i had to put 0x infront of the WEP password to get it to work.

It's so good when everything works! we were all working away and it seemed just as fast as my one pc connected to my 8.1Mbps connection.

now my son is getting a PSP so that will soon be on my network and i have loads of spare pc bits so i'm thinking of building a Linux PC for my shed!
