There is a lot more to this absinthe than Anise you get hints of pine, wormwood bitters, you of course get the bold Anise flavour but it’s not too prevalent. The colour is awesome before any water is added. After adding water the spectacular louche is just breath taking, it’s the same colour as Edouard Manet’s famous The Absinthe Drinker painting.
This absinthe is the real deal, not the dyed Spanish stuff or the overpriced crud served in trendy bars in the U.K.
