I've noticed a few posts referring to "device" vs. "task-oriented" capabilities of the pronto as opposed to the IRIQ. The pronto doesn't care which action you teach it to execute regardless of the device template. On all my templates, for example, the hard volume buttons control the pre-amp volume except for the "basic TV" template (for my wife, a "special user") which controls the TV's internal speakers. On my "enhanced TV" template, sound is routed through the pre-amp and volume is controlled again with the hard buttons.(This is explained on page 31 of the user guide.)

There should be no confusion that the IRIQ is somehow superior because of its so-called "task-oriented" execution.

I can't wait to get my mitts on the software, either.
