Thanks. I am not using the philips mouse nor do I intend to. I am not sure what PPENG is, but I assume it is some software that I will need to use in the conversion processs. No big deal. I write and manage software creation for a living.
You helped me lean toward the 7000. I really did not want to buy an expensive remote that is already out of production.
I will buy a 7000 in the next week or two along with the IR extender.
Perhaps when I get into it, I will even be able to contribute a little to the code. If not, I will definitely contribute a few $$$ to you for your effort.
