For: Philips TS-1000 By: Adriaan van Nijendaal | Adriaan van Nijendaal's System This is a system CCF that I've used for a long time. Most bugs were corrected over time. This CCF is activity-oriented. The Pronto will ask you were you are (bedroom, living room) and then it will let you choose what you'd like to do. I have used discrete codes wherever I could. My Pronto does not play music, has no graphics. In fact, the screens are all legible even when the contrast setting is way off. I have no fancy buttons, just simple, functional, large rectangles that allow for a lot of text. The language used is Dutch, but that should be easy to fix. If you're having trouble finding the translations for your favorite language (on babelfish?), drop me a line. To facilitiate easy editing, I have put all IR codes in (hidden) screens, which are then accessed by aliases. This improves maintainability of the CCF greatly. This CCF should make a great source to rip IR codes for your particular device! |

For: Philips ProntoPro By: Daniel Nguyen | Daniel Nguyen's Color CCF If there are anything beautiful about this CCF, they came from stuff which I borrowed from the many excellent designers found here (especially Daniel Tonks). The design is heavily based on Daniel's, but without any tabs. DVD case images abound, with some foreign language for Karaoke thrown in... |

For: Philips TSU2000 By: Jackson Ng | Jackson Ng's Chinese CCF I designed this layout for my brother-in-law's new home theater system. His parents don't read English, and with over 5 remote controls it seems watching a DVD is more complicated than it should be. I designed all the panels with big Chinese characters so it is easier to read. The layout is task based and as idiot proof as possible. I even replaced the home icon with custom one with chinese characters. The layouts only have basic buttons - the ones they use often. |

For: Marantz RC5000i By: Keith Norris | Keith Norris' Custom RC5000i Since my last submission I have completely overhauled the remotes layout. After realizing that my CCF didn't work as well on the low contrast screen, I looked at a few CCFs on and decided to do away with most of the fancy graphics and keep the layout simple. I have been using this configuration for a few weeks and it seems to work quite well. I expect the remote will be an ongoing project and will continue to develop. To everyone who has contributed to the Remote Central CCF file gallery, thank you. |
