Insignia LCDTV32 working with Comcast DVR Comcast custom DVR 3 remote controler

Copied from the Insignia manual (And I missed it as well the first time through) i downloaded the manual from Insignia

How to use remote controls provided with other
equipment:
• This TV can be controlled by many Universal
remote controls, for this functionality use the
***__Mitsubishi__*** code selections shown in the
manual for your Universal remote control.
Please note that not all Universal Remotes
will support this model and not all TV
functionality is available from a Universal
remote.

i used code 0150

I programed my Comcast custom DVR 3 Device with code 150 and i get most of the major functions i need.

When we bought our Insignia TV/PC Monitor from Best Buy, the sales person told us it was really a Westinghouse TV with Best Buy's brand "Insignia" name. Maybe this will help.

If you own a Westinghouse tv, your lucky if it responds to Sony tv code, if it doesn't you're out of luck.

I am hoping that your model # is the following: IS-TVO40924. If this is so, your code number is 115. Please reference the following web page for more information...
[Link: insignia-products.com]

I hope this helps. I work at Best Buy and was looking this information up for myself and another customer.

I got a 24" flat screen Insignia from Best Buy (NS20FTV) and no remote codes work but the MEMOREX brand code, just as an earlier person stated.

So I guess so far the manufacturers are Memorex, Sansui, and Philips?

OK. I don't know squat about Insignia televisions. I was convinced in buying one. I just purchased an Insignia LCDTV26 26 inch tv without a remote. I figured I can just use my universal remote for it. But I come to find out that this brand is a PAIN IN THE ASS. I cant fint s**t for it! And everyone on here seems to talk about other universal remotes but the one I hold. Can anybody PLEASEEEE help me with an ------RCA D770 remote???? because that is the topic of this forum....right?

PS. INSIGNIA SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....SO DOES "BEST BUY" AND THEIR "THINK THEY KNOW IT ALL" EMPLOYEE'S!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! I also bought an Insignia TV from Best
Buy and am trying to figure out the code for my
Cablevision universal remote. I tried all the
suggestions above, but none seemed to work for
me. I called Best Buy, Cablevision, and Insignia
and they were no help. If anyone gets any tips,
please post them. Thanks so much!
