Hello, I just bought a Insignia TV from Best Buy, I didn't know that codes are a factor in purchasing a TV, but could someone PLEASE help me from remote control HELL!!!!
I can not find the correct code to enter for my direct tv remote. TY

If there is a code listed for Tatung, give that one a try. I believe the Insignia TV's are manufactured by this company for Best Buy.
Alternatively, get hold of a universal learning remote and learn the codes.

my bro in law just got an insignia htib. i have searched everywhere and cannot find any codes for this....i have contacted insignia phone and website..no luck there...
i found this thread stating that tautung makes these...i found like 30 codes for them if you need these i will post them...none of these work for the insignia....i have a denon 4802 with the old touch screen remote{very nice} anyway the denon can learn the codes but there is no way to find out what the code is...like a new cox remote{which he has...cant find it usind the search function either} which will tell you with a series of light flashes..but it cant learn. i have read there are some learning remotes that will learn an ir code and tell you what it is...but i know no one with one of these

You can't teach a few commands to a learning remote, and have code pop out. Anyways code lists are different across universal remotes.

thanks [Link: comcast.com]this page gives you the codes for the OnDemand Comcast remote.. Also, check out [Link: remotecodelist.com] . I have a Comcast on Demand and ended up have to do a code search on my Insignia. The Sansui codes did not work. Took me about 40 codes but it finally Worked... Thanks for the help guys.. your posts led me in the right direction..

FYI - I have an Insignia DVD/VCR Combo and the Zenith codes worked for my remote...all functions work as needed.

Hello! I also bought an Insignia TV from Best Buy and am trying to figure out the code for my Cablevision universal remote. I tried all the suggestions above, but none seemed to work for me. I called Best Buy, Cablevision, and Insignia and they were no help. If anyone gets any tips, please post them. Thanks so much!

Hi, Insignia TV Code for DIRECT TV is 10463. To program the DIRECT TV remote do the following
1. Slide to TV
2. Press HOLD the MUTE and SELECT
3. If TV Green Light flash 2 times proceed step 4 otherwise goto step 1
4. Release MUTE and SELECT
5. Input 10463.
