the only universal remote with a insignia Tv listed are the URC R5 & R7, this code doesn't match any of the brands I listed. And there are others like you who have had success with the above mentioned brands. So if the preset code in the R5 or R7 doesn't work, they are both learning remotes.

To whom it may concern. Thanks firstly for supplying me with the remote code 0054 for my One for All (3 in 1) remote....to be used on, of all things, a Best Buy "Hisense" LCD 20" TV. Hisense has an impressive website and apparently makes products for around the world. I visited two Best Buy stores trying to educate myself, yes, I bought the TV at Best Buy without the remote....visited another BBuy and saw the exact same model I had but with the "INSIGNIA" name on it....which led me to this site. ...and the rest is history. I wrote down 6 codes mentioned in these postings and the Orion 0054 worked for me...all functions.
Hope this note helps someone else.

I have a 32" Insignia Flat screen Model # IS-TV040926. I cant seem to find the 3 digit code for my Dish Network remote #103602. I have tried every other thread listing here and still have had no luck. CAN ANYONE HELP??????

CAN ANYONE HELP?????? Do not try the codes listed in this thread, note the brands and try the codes listed in your manual for those same brands. That's Admiral, Emerson, Mitsubishi, and philps.

CAN ANYONE HELP?????? UPDATE!!!!!!! I contacted Dish Network and they talked me thru a "power scan" for the remote code. It WORKED! I have no clue what the code is , but it seems like the easyest way to go. Here's what I did... Press and hold the TV button on the remote till all 4 buttons light up and flash(make sure your TV is on). Once they flash, press the power button, then using the channel up button, point the remote at the TV and keep pressing it till the TV turns off. When it does, press the # sign and that will lock in the new found code. Hope this helps!

OK after over an hour and a zillion codes w/comcast cable tech
and finally my Insignia TV from best buy could be programmed
to my comcast remote!
We had to use a code for a SYLVANIA tv
Code: 0054
powered off like a charm!
press tv, setup (tv button lights up twice) then enter
0054 and press Power. It shuts off!
I was just about ready to put the darn tv back in the box and return it to best buy
for a brand that's easier to program!

Hi I just bougt Insginia 27" Flat screen TV from Best Buy IS-TVCA 102212. I am looking for a universal remote that works with this TV. could ne one help me with this. i tried couple of universal remote control but they didnt work

I just was able to program my Insignia IS-LCDTV32 on a cablevision silver remote with the Mitsubichi code 109.

Hi everyone.
Quick question, I just got digital cable today at my dorm. However I have an insignia tv/dvd (is-tv040921) and left the remote at home. Much to my dismay, I've realized the chances of getting a good code for an insignia tv are about the same odds as finding a needle in a haystack.
I've tried to 9-9-1 thing and it hasn't worked yet. Does anyone else have any guidance as to what further I can do? Poker starts soon and I wanted to watch it :P

-Ryan Try a codesearch for dvd code instead of tv, most combos use the codeset of the dvd or vcr portion of the combo.

I just purchased an Insignia 32' and had problems with the remote. After playing around with it for a while, I finally got 0091 to work for mine.
